For this short piece, I intended to reject traditional and romantic associations of the harp, such as its beauty, its delicacy etc. – its celestial, metaphysical connotations. Instead I have tried to exploit its sordidly material capacities for rhythmical precision and resonance.

This piece was written for Olivia Jageurs, to whom it is dedicated.
